Hi, there! My name is Chandler Knox, and I am the newest Elo Health Coach and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I'm so glad to be joining the Elo team and help our members achieve their health and wellness goals.
A little bit about me
Participating in sports growing up provided an opportunity to see the impact our lifestyle can have on our health and fitness. As a former wrestler, I witnessed a direct correlation between my performance in sport and how I fueled my body. This led me to pursue my degree in Food and Nutrition where I graduated with honors from Mississippi State University, and later obtained my master degree in Health Promotion. Upon finishing my bachelor, I was fortunate to have earned an internship within college athletics, and worked my way into becoming a full time sport dietitian for a Division One, Power-Five Athletic Department. I worked with a wide array of athletes - from Olympic swimmers to professional football players - educating and providing guidance on their individual fueling strategies to help reach their health and competitive goals.
Why I'm passionate about health, nutrition and wellness
I really enjoy helping to alleviate the anxiety surrounding health and nutrition. I stand for science driven recommendations when it comes to health information. Striving to make optimal nutrition achievable for anyone with consideration of their preferences and goals.
What I like to do in my free time
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city in which I live; nature trails, food halls or farmer markets beware. I find cooking and trying new foods to be a fun and rewarding challenge! Also, I enjoy catching sport events with my friends and family. There is nothing quite like the energy of a packed stadium!
Why Elo?
Elo is on the forefront of individualized nutrition at the touch of your phone. Simply put, there is not another brand doing what Elo is accomplishing. I enjoy working with Elo members to be that pillar of truth, to support them when needed, and to guide them where necessary.
