Elo Smart Protein: how it works

Elo’s Smart Protein harnesses the power of wearable technology, individual biomarker data, and AI to create exactly the right protein recovery blend for you. Here’s everything you need to know about Smart Protein, including how we build your blend and why it can help accelerate post-workout recovery.

Protein powder is one of the most popular supplement choices for recreational gym-goers and elite athletes alike, and for good reason. Protein is a macronutrient that plays a vital role in tissue repair, strength, lean muscle mass, and post-workout recovery.

While protein powders are convenient and easily accessible, not all of them are created equal. Many products on the market provide generic dosages, are not third-party tested, and

contain added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and contaminants that can be harmful to health

. Moreover, many protein products do not provide the right types of protein for optimal post-workout recovery. Elo Smart Protein - the world’s most personalized recovery protein product - addresses all these issues.

Science behind Smart Protein

Consuming high-quality protein after a workout has been shown to improve recovery and muscle protein synthesis. Elo Smart Protein is backed by the latest science to help you recover faster and get the most out of every scoop. More specifically:

  • Your Elo Smart Protein blend is optimized to deliver the right amount of leucine and other amino acids after each workout. Research indicates that consuming 1-3 g of leucine after a workout is ideal for stimulating muscle protein synthesis and promoting recovery after exercise [

    ].

  • Protein dosing calculations are based on the duration and intensity of each workout. Longer, more intense exercise depletes more fuel, warranting a larger protein dose.

  • Functional ingredients boosts are added to Smart Protein blends for specific goals and indications, based on a proprietary analysis of over 3,500 peer-reviewed studies.
